Connie Chung

Awarded the National Association of Realtors®’ 30 Under 30, Connie Chung’s success began early, and time after time, she has proven her value to clients and the industry, consistently ranking in the top 1.5% of Realtors® nationwide. With strong intuition, she interprets every home as an investment, and as an investor herself, Connie empowers clients to make sound financial decisions. Through unwavering integrity, due diligence, and compassion, she’s humbled that over 90% of her company’s business comes from word-of-mouth referrals and repeat clients.

Energetic, competitive and goal-oriented, Connie graduated from UC Berkeley on scholarship and completed a fellowship in public policy and international affairs at Princeton University. Among her experience working on political campaigns and fundraising in the nonprofit sector, Connie attributes her grit and negotiation skills to growing up as one of six kids to immigrant parents.

With a penchant for architectural homes and design, Connie and her husband have renovated a number of historic homes including an Alamo Square Victorian duplex blocks from the famous Painted Ladies in San Francisco, a craftsman house in Rockridge, Oakland, and most recently, a 4,000 sqft Monterey Colonial in San Marino, their biggest undertaking to date. Together they have two young children, Mia and Mateo.

Known to bring people together, Connie loves hosting parties of all sorts – from casual dinners with loved ones to galas in support of worthy causes.

Real estate is about more than just transactions — it’s about people, places, and the stories that shape them.

My Story

Why I moved back to the

San Gabriel Valley

As a San Gabriel native, I once couldn’t wait to leave. Driven by a deep curiosity to see the world and break out of the familiar rhythm of the SGV – I’ll be frank; it wasn’t as cool as it is today. ;)  As a teenager, I was also eager to escape my dysfunctional family dynamics, only to realize later that every family has its quirks, and that mine was full of charm in its own way.

After a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’ve found my way back home. Now lucky enough to live in San Marino, the very neighborhood that once felt like a fairytale backdrop during my childhood Halloween nights, I’m just blocks from where I trick-or-treated for king-sized chocolate bars and admired the stately houses lit up for the holidays. Those childhood memories, especially the glimpses into people’s homes as they opened their doors to greet us, sparked my lifelong love for architecture and design, and ultimately, understanding people and the storied meaning behind every home.

As a parent with two young kids, I’m rediscovering all my favorite local eats while also trying out new neighborhood hot spots. I’m still constantly uncovering gems new and old. You can often find me enjoying a good cup of coffee and soaking in the ambience of a cafe. Two Kids in South Pasadena and Mandarin Coffee in Pasadena are a couple of my local favorites.

As a member of The Huntington Library & Gardens, I’m often in awe of what is feasible to grow in our warm and sunny climate. I also love channeling my event production background into school fundraisers. My favorite activity is being present with my loved ones, exploring new hiking trails, cooking together, dining al fresco, and watching my kiddos play in their Little League.

One of the greatest joys of my work is sharing local insights with clients – whether that be my favorite Japanese restaurant (if you’re curious to know, it’s Osawa) or Japanese market (Tozai in Rosemead; they do great lunch and catering platters as well) – or my go-to vendors and resources. I see my job a lot like a matchmaker as I am constantly connecting people with each other.
